Hello Parents and Students!  My name is Ms. Erving, and I am from Chicago, Illinois. I graduated from Eastern Illinois University and have been teaching for over 20 years- 19 of those years teaching kindergarten.  Teaching is my heart and passion.  When  I am not teaching I enjoy collecting seashells, scrapbooking, swimming, reading books, and spending quality time with my two daughters, grand puppies, and family.  I have been a part of AMS for six years, having taught at the Camelback campus since 2015.  I am very delighted to join the Academy of Math and Science South Mountain campus.
