It is a privilege to introduce myself as the new Principal of AMSSM, and I am truly excited to join this incredible community. I am honored to be part of a school that is clearly committed to supporting scholars, building strong relationships, and striving for excellence each day. I look forward to working alongside each of you as we continue expanding the opportunities and experiences that help our scholars grow and succeed.
Schools are at their best when scholars feel inspired to learn, educators feel supported in their craft, and the entire community works together toward a shared vision of excellence. AMSSM has a durable foundation built through the commitment, passion, and expertise of the people who serve this community each day, and I look forward to building on that foundation.
I am proud to be an Arizona native, born and raised in this state and deeply committed to the communities our schools serve. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University and my master’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. Since beginning my career in education in 2000, I have had the privilege of serving Arizona schools in a variety of roles, including classroom teacher, Academic Coach, Dean, and Assistant Principal. Each of these experiences has strengthened my belief that strong schools are built through collaboration, trust, and a shared commitment to scholar learning.
